Issues of child protection may need to be addressed to An Garda Siochana. Should this be necessary our Mellowes liaison officer will communicate with An Garda Siochana.
They also perform a very important role in the community by visiting the children at Mellowes childcare centre each year allowing them sit in the patrol car, speaking to them about keeping safe at home, outside and in the car.
Mellowes take lots of photos on these occasions as it is a very important topic in the class room. This visit is very important for our children and they get very excited to see the An Garda Siochana at Mellowes family fun adventure and childcare centre.
